Shoe X, rain edition

We all know what it feels like to look up in the sky and have the raindrops fall on your face. The fresh air that comes shortly after the rain cleansed the world around us only the way it can. Staying inside to be comforted by our hot coco and warm blankets. These things all give us something to look forward to, something to cherish. However, when we get a little too much rain we end up singing ” Rain, rain, come on back another day”.

Just like almost everything in this world there is an up side and there is a down side. When you have to go outside when it is pouring you use an umbrella to keep the rain off of you. Because, obviously we have lives to live and we do not want to get wet. What about the the water that ends up on side walks or cars? Is there a way to filter rain water to make it drinkable? Well, yes there are filters to do this, but nearly all of them do not offer portability and mobility nonetheless as a clothes item. We all know of the people around the world who are thirsty. And, there is a lot of water yet, dehydration and clean drinking water are still big problems of today. I propose the shoe x, rain edition. It would be the same weight as a regular shoe, but with a filter and detachable water bottle like containers attached to the shoe. The container would be about 8 oz. and you can take it off the shoe at any time to simply drink away at your hearts content. The shoe x would be the latest in water saving technology and will break barriers in the process. The revolutionary shoe x will also provide a extremely like weight shoe so that when the bottle fills up it will merely be the weight of a regular shoe. Of course the shoe is only in prototype phase, but once built and manufactured it will revolutionize the industry. The reason I call it rain edition is simply because it is like the umbrella, it would only be used when in the rain. I love the rain, and if you do to you would enjoy it even better with free drinking water right? Yes! That is what I thought. Shoe x will be priced at a very reasonable $ 49.99 and available to the public. Let the rain fall!
